Jason graduated from Memorial University in 1996 with his Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology. Jason then went on to attend Northumberland College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He graduated in May 1999 with his Massage Therapy Diploma.

Jason has worked at the Cole Harbour Integrated Health clinic since fall of 1999. He frequently presents seminars for the general public on the benefits of massage therapy. Jason taught part-time at the Halifax Massage Therapy School and has completed various continuing education courses on massage. He is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).

Jason was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland. In his free time, Jason enjoys tennis, weight lifting, and mountain biking and is a volunteer firefighter.
