Stephanie was born in Hay River, Northwest Territories, however she has resided in various communitiesin Nova Scotia for the past 24 years. After graduating from Baddeck Academy, Stephanie attended the University of New Brunswick, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Degree. While at UNB, Stephanie volunteered as a student athletic therapist for the women's soccer team and UNB swim team. After graduating from UNB in 2000, Stephanie decided to pursue a career in Massage Therapy. She attended Northumberland College and graduated in 2002 with her Massage Therapy Diploma. Prior to joining the Elmsdale team, Stephanie gained experience working in various other clinical settings.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys jogging, skiing, and weight training.
