Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic Doctors are primary health care providers who specialize in science and research based natural medicines and preventive health care. Naturopathic Doctors receive 3 years of pre-medical training and 4 years of post-graduate training. They receive extensive training in both conventional and natural medical diagnostics and treatments.

Clients can see a Naturopathic Physician for the same conditions they would see their conventional medical doctor. The focus is to identify and treat the cause of a condition or symptom, rather than just the symptom itself. If you identify and treat the cause, the symptom will go away. A holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment is taken, meaning the entire body (both physical and mental) is assessed during the consultation.

Naturopathic Doctors are trained in several different treatment modalities including Clinical Nutrition and Supplemental Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, and various physical medicines such as Massage Therapy and Manipulation.
